Tarun Gogoi defeated: Akhil

Tarun Gogoi is defeated. That’s the main line of what Akhil Gogoi told reporters on Tuesday a day after he was released on bail.

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, the KMSS leader said that he and his colleagues were tortured during police custody.

He said that ruling party will have to give heavy price of it in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He urged the voters not to take the side of this party in the elections.  

He alleged that his arrest was a conspiracy of Tarun Gogoi to gag the voice of protest and to ensure the smooth sailing of Gaurav Gogoi who is contesting from Koliabor.
