Sonia Gandhi seems to have pulled huge crowd as the Congress president arrived to campaign for Ranee Narah in Lakhimpur on Sunday.
Over 20,000 people have already thronged at the venue before the arrival of the UPA chairperson. The workers, mostly, ferried by hiring various buses and other four wheeler vehicles from early in the morning.
Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and APCC president Bhubneswar Kalita also attended the rally to campaign for the Union minister for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Earlier, the Congress president landed at the Lilabari Airport at around 11-30 in the morning. Then she left or the rally by a chopper.
The polling in Lakhimpur will take place on April 7 along with Jorhar, Tezpur, Koliabor and Dibrugarh.
