Curfew imposed in Chirang

The Chirang district administration has imposed curfew in areas under Bijni and Amguri police station this evening from 6 pm to 6 am tomorrow morning as the situation is turning hot over the brutal killing.

Various organizations like the All Bodo Students Union(ABSU), Bodo Women Justice Forum (ABWWF), local NGOS have condemned the inhuman and barbaric incident and demanded immediate arrest and capital punishment of the culprits involved in the crime.

ABSU president Promod Boro has condemn the incident. He demanded immediate arrest and capital punishment of the culprits involved in the crime. The ABSU also demanded 10 lakhs compensation to the family members of the decease.

The ABWWF too condemn the incident and demanded action against the culprit and punishment amounting to death to those found guilty.
