Huge gathering in Mahmora

Defying an inclement weather people are thronging in thousands in Mahmora to attend Dr Manmohan Singh’s poll rally on Saturday.

Dr Singh, who represents Assam in Parliament is expected to arrive in Dibrugarh at 11 in the morning. Then he would straightly leave for Mahmora in Sivasagar to campaign for Jorhat candidate Bijoy Krishna Handique.  

Chief minister Tarun Gogoi along with APCC president Bhubneswar Kalita and Union minister Pawan Singh Ghatowar are scheduled to attend the huge rally.
