ULFA (I) linkman apprehended

NAMRUP:  The Namtola Police and Sonari Army Camp under DAO Division in a joint operation apprehended one ULFA (I) Linkman from Namtola area on Friday. Acting on a tip-off the security forces carried out an opeartion and swooped on one Romen Borgohain(34) son of Tarun Borgohain a resident of Hathi Camp under Namtola police station in Charaideo district. Nine live rounds of ammunition of 7.65mm calibre and 11gm Brown sugar were also recovered from the possession of the ultra. The militant revealed that  he was involved in supply of drugs to various insurgent cadres along with collectong extortion money.
