No Opp grand alliance as yet

Guwahati: The Opposition grand alliance has yet to be a reality. This was more or less of what Jitendra Singh when the AICC leader looking after the state’s party said in Guwahati on Friday.

Singh said, “confabulations are in progress in the state for an alliance with AIUDF and like minded parties. But only AICC will take the final call. So far there is no alliance.”

He said that Congress will come back to power and the people of Assam will never forgive BJP and its misgovernance. “They  had lots of promises. But did not implemented. Will the people vote this party to power again?”

Congress and AIUDF leaders claimed to have been preparing for alliance from the last couple of months much to the utter disappointment of BJP and its allies.
