Veterinary school inaugurated

KOKRAJHAR: BTC executive member Shyam Sundi inaugurated the extended campus of School of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry at Titaguri in Kokrajhar district, on Thursday.

66 trainees, who are selected as veterinary field assistant (VFA) under veterinary and animal husbandry department are taking training in the school.

Sundi said that the school is giving an opportunity to train students from  veterinary and animal husbandry in the region as well as whole of the state.He said that peoples from the region would be benefited from the school.

Director of the department, Dr PC Das said that state government was working dedicately for the veterinary sectors and trying to fill up the vacancies lying at various centres across the state.
