Tarun Gogoi tests COVID19 positive

Guwahati: Senior Congress leader said former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi tested COVID19 positive before being shifted to the Gauhati Medical College Hospital for treatment on Wednesday.

A team of specialists has been attending Gogoi at the instance of health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma after he was admitted at the premier medical college.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal called up Gogoi and assured him of best possible treatment for his early recovery.

Many political leaders, organizations, and individuals have wished his early recovery
