Sundarar Sadhak Ananta Ram Das Award for Dr Lakshinandan Bora

The ex-president of Asom Sahitya Sabha Dr Lakshinandan Bora is selected for the "Sundarar Sadhak Ananta Ram Das Award" for this year 2016 in Barpeta by Ananta Ram Das Smriti Prakashan aimed at giving the new trend to the Assamese culture and literature. It may be mentioned that every year this award is given noted persons who contributed a lot to art, literature and culture especially to the soceity. This was stated by Chief Secretary Kabin Das. Dr Lakshinandan Bora filled the granery of litetature by his great creations like jakeri nahike upam, patal Bhoirabi, poton etc. The award will be given on july 19 on the 14th death anniversary day of Ananta Ram Das.
