Siddique Ahmed sent to jail

Siddique Ahmed has been jailed after Karimganj police arrested the former minister on Thursday in connection with an assault case. Karimganj police arrested him as the court rejected his petition where he was resent. For the last several months he has been ignoring the court summon in connection with a case filed against him by Razaul Karim. His supporters who were waiting outside the court premised clashed with police when Ahmed was arrested.
