Second death during eviction!

The drive to evict the illegal settlers in Guwahati seems to have mired in more controversy with the death of one more woman just before demolishing her hut on Wednesday.

Identified as Pokhila Begum, the resident of Silsako area died at 11on Wednesday night hours after her hut was demolished during the eviction drive.

Family members told Assam Times that the heart patient fell flat just before the arrival of the eviction team.

Local residents failed to rushed her to the hospital after the eviction tem demolished the bamboo bridge.
This is the second death during the on going drive to clear the wetlands in Guwahati.
