Sankardev tithi in Kokrajhar

Hundreds of devotees and followers observed the death anniversary of saint Shankardev with traditional religious fervour on Wednesday. Many people thronged the Kokrajhar Namghar complex to observed the occasion.

The Kokrajhar Namghar Parichalana Samiti organized the occasion to observe the death anniversary of the neo Vaishnavite giant. 

Nayanmoi  Das,organizer said,” we remembered the saint  on his death anniversary who had contributed lots towards the uplift of social, religion, language and literary in the state of Assam.”
