Rape accused held in Kokrajhar

Police apprehended three out of four accused including a police constable on Sunday morning in connection with Tarinipur gang raped of a pregnent woman on June 3 under Gossaigaon PS.

The accused persons have been arrested on Sunday morning in an operation led by Gossaigaon SDPO in association with Gossaigaon PS officer in-charge and in-charge of  Simaltapu police outpost following case registered no. 238/2017 U/S 120(B)/376D/307 IPC with Gossaigaon PS. Arrested are identified as Robinson Hasda (21 yrs), Berenthius Murmu (18 yr) and ABC/820 Julias Hembrom(31 yrs) of Kokrajhar DEF. Julias is a police constable in Kokrajhar district.Another accused Munindra Murmu (19 yrs) is still absoconding and ffforts are on to apprehend the fourth accused.
