Protest in Delhi over BTAD bloodshed
RASHMITA GOGOI FROM NEW DELHI: The BTAD bloodbath seems to have erupted anger and protest in New Delhi. Hundreds of students staged dharna in front of the Assam House on Wednesday in protest against the bloodletting in BTAD.
Holding play cards and banners, the students from JNU and Delhi University thronged in front of Assam Hose and shouted slogans demanding measures to contain the situation.
Further, they demanded exemplary punishment for the perpetrators in the carnage where over 50 people were killed and 2000 rendered homeless.
