Probe into police firing death

The Morigaon district administration has ordered a magisterial probe into the death of a minor boy in police firing at Kordoibeel area on Tuesday.

Deputy commissioner issued the order when local residents in large number thronged the Morigaon police station campus in protest against the firing where Biswajeet Bordoloi was killed.

The incident took place when police resorted to firing to deal with a group clash at a water body in Tetelia.
