Prez stresses influx issue

President Pranab Mukherjee said on Monday that the Centre was firm on dealing with the infiltration issue.

In his address at Parliament, Mukherjee said that the Narendra Modi government will complete the process of Indo-Bangladesh border border fencing in Assam and the neighbouring north eastern states.

Notably, the prime minister in his recent cabinet  meeting said that his government will be able to properly address immigration issue.
