Police steps action against fake certificate

Kokrajhar police arrested four persons including a medical staff, who  are illegally involved with racket of fake birth certificate selling among publics to extend support while filling up of NRC updating in the district. 

 SP Saikia, Superintendent of Police, Kokrajhar while addressing the reporters today at his office chamber said that police administration had taking stern action against fake birth certificate selling among common publics that are being used in the filling up of NRC updating in the district. He told that four persons including a medical staff of malaria branch under Dotma PHC were arrested into fake birth certificate selling in the district. He said that as per confessed of the incident police nabbed persons who were identified as Zhumar Ali, Hekmod Ali, Joynal Abedin (medical staff) and Eman Ali.

He said that police has been scanning to the used of fake certificate racket in the district during updation of NRC in the state. 

Saikia, who joined recently as SP in Kokrajhar said that he will strict look forward to the controlling of crime and terrorism in the district to create peace and harmony among citizens. 

Kokrajhar Press Club felicitated Saikia with traditional Aronai and Phulam Gamocha during the interaction session media persons today in Kokrajhar. 

Saikia has assures that the police administration will keep relationship in between police and peoples to sustain healthy integration in the district.
