Plight of teachers: All works and no salary

Lakhimpur: Education minister Himanta Biswa Sarma smartly claimed to have changed the face of education sector. Even, he has not felt even an iota of sympathy to publicly insult a section of teachers for failing to ensure good results in the board examination. But how long he is sincere from his part? Has he been able to disburse salaries to the teachers in time?

Many teachers engaged in the primary schools in Narayanpur education block in Lakhimpur district have not received salaries for the last four months.

The authority has cleared the payments of a section of teachers and has washed its hands off. What is in store for others who have yet to receive their salaries.  

Despite repeated appeals, the authorities has been least bothered forcing them to feel let down. As a results, these teachers have been facing a great deal of hardships since they have not been to receive their salaries.   

But the DEEO and other concerned officials have been mum. Will Himanta Biswa Sarma be able to answer?
