One drowns at Hell River

A 17-year-old youth has died and another his colleague was rescued after drowning at Hell River at Fakiragram in Kokrajhar.

The incident took place on Sunday evening at Dhopertal village along the Hell River.

The duo hailed from Maligaon Guwahati visited their reltives house at Fakiragram. They went to the Hell River to have a bath in the afternoon and met the mishap.

Local police and SDRF team rushed the spot after the incident recovered one body and another one rescued.

The rescued has rushed the Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital for medical treatment after rescued.

The deceased was identified as Shyam Basfor (17),son of  Amarjit Basfor of Maligaon, Guwahati. The rescued was identified as Sanjay Basfor (19), son of Raju Basfor of Maligaon.
