NRC: SC extends date till Mar

The Supreme Court on Tuesday extended the date for publication of the updated National Register of Citizens (NRC) by March 1 next year. A division bench of the court consisting of Justice Ranjan Gogoi and R F Nariman further asked coordinator Prateek Hajela to file a status report on November 11. The bench had decided to continue monitoring the implementation of its directions.
