A mild tremor jolted parts on Assam creating panic among a section of the people on Tuesday midnight

The earthquake of 4.6 intensity in the Richter scale jolted the Central parts of the state at 11.17 midnight forcing a section of people in Guwahati to come out of their houses. Originated in Nagaon, the earthquake struck for 9 seconds.
