KLO arrested

Security forces belonging to Assam police and army in a joint operation, apprehended a cadre of Kamatapur Liberation Organisation(KLO) from Nayekgaon area on Tuesday in Kokrajhar district.

Based on a specific information about presence of the militant organisation,a joint team of police and army launched an operation in the are and apprehended a KLO cadre along with arm.

The cadre was identified as Ajay Barman alias Takla,20,of Darnagpur of Baksa district.He was involved with extortion,kidnapping,recruiting new cadres,logistic supports to militant outfits.

A pistol and a live bullet was recovered from him.
