Kampur-Nagaon ASTC service flagged off

Raha, Nagaon: Assam State Transport Corporation(ASTC) bus service from Kampur to Nagaon via Kampur-Raha route was flagged off on August 30 by the divisional superintendent, Apurba Barkakati of ASTC amidst cheers of the local citizens. A meeting was held on the occasion under the presidentship of Bibhuti Bhusan Borthakur, State NSUI president, attended by a number of prominent personalities of Kampur, besides ASTC officials and local people.

It should be mentioned here that this service has been demanded by the people of Kampur for a long time.
