Help Congress retain power: Rahul

AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi made a clarion call to the people of Tezpur to vote for Congress to help the ruling party serve them again.

In his nearly half an hour address at a Congress poll rally Biswanath Chariali on Thursday, Gandhi said that Congress has done a lot for the people of all walks. But needs to be done and that’s why, Congress should be given to rule the country.

He said that Assam’s development rate now stands at 13 per cent since the Tarun Gogoi Government took over. But the rate of development was 2 per cent when AGP was in the power.
