HC to hear Medhi plea next week

The Gauhati High Court on Friday fixed March 19 as the date of hearing of an anticipatory bail plea moved by Kamal Medhi in connection with the recent self immolation of a KMSS activist in Dispur.

The court, however, granted interim bail to Dhorya Konwar and Amal Bezbaruah who have been booked by Dispur police. But their bail would be applicable till March 19.
