HC asks for govt reply by Nov 21 on Akhil

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati High Court will decide on the fate of Akhil Gogoi who has been languishing in Dibrugarh Central Jail under the National Security Act.

On hearing a bail moved on behalf of the KMSS leader on Friday, a single bench of Justice AC Bujorbaruah asked the government to clear its position by November 21.

On receipt of the papers, the court will decide on the fate of Gogoi who was arrested under National Security Act registering 12 cases.
