Governor JB Patnaik approved Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi's recommendation to drop Ardhendu Dey and Siddeque Ahmed from the council of ministers.
Patnaik further cleared Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s resignation acting on Gogoi’s recommendation.
