Gogoi dead opposed to oil field auction
Former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi took on the Centre opposing the move to auction 12 oil fields along with dozens of oilfields across the country. Addressing a press conference in Jorhat on Tuesday, Gogoi said that he and his party won’t allow it to happen.
“We are here to oppose the move tooth and nail. We won’t remain silent. What forces the Modi government to auction these oil fields? This is a government for the rich and industrialists only,” said the former Chief Minister.
