Former MLA Karam Thamarjit dies

Former MLA Karam Thamarjit Singh passed away following a brief illness at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi on Thursday.  He was 46. His body will be brought back to Imphal Saturday.

Thamarjit Karam Memmorial Committee, Keirai Assembly Youth Congress Committee and Mahila Block Committee condoled his death.

He was elected from the ticket of Manipur State Congress Party (MSCP) from Keirao constituency in the 2002 assembly elections. He contested the 2017 Manipur assembly polls on Indian National Congress (INC) ticket, but had lost.
