Dispur for sophisticated weapons

Dispur demands sophisticated weapons for the police to efficiently deal with the militant outfits operating in Assam.

In his memorandum to prime minister Narendra Modi, chief minister Tarun Gogoi said that the Centre should ensure tht the militants are not allowed to set up camps in the sanciaries of the neighbouring countries.

Gogoi further stressed infrascture to strengthen the riverine IRB.
