Dharna for wage increase

Hundreds of AASAA activists and tea estate labours gathered at a dharna programme here at Magurmari ground today in Kokrajhar demanding wages hike from Rs 94 to 330 on daily basis, sufficient facilities to the tea estate labours. 

The dharna programme was organized by the AASAA central committee.

The agitators demanded early hike of daily wages to 330 from 94 to the tea estate workers.The students association also demanded proper facilities including medical expensive, hike of GPF, PF so that tea workers can meet healthy living. 

Francis Chermako, joint secretary of AASAA has demanded early hike of daily wage.He has warned to hold strong agitation if their demands are not meet in early manner.
