Clarion call for peace in Manipur

Amid an escalating tension, the Manipuri students bodies in Delhi have asked the people of all walks of life to exercise restraint.

In a statement released on Monday, the Manipuri Students Association in Delhi along with two other orgsnizations have condemned the ongoing orgy of violence and blockade and counter blockade in the plains and hills.

The New Delhi based orgsnizations are lighting candle on Tuesday evening in the capital with a clarion call to end the violent protest where many vehicles were torched on Monday.
