Child rights conference in Guwahati

Come Monday. Guwahati is gearing up for the eastern regional roundtable conference on child rights.

Organizers told Assam Times that sponsored by the NCPCR, UNICEF, ILO and ASCPCR, the event would take place at the Assam Administrative Staff College in Khanapara where senior ministers, government officials and child rights activists are expected to participate.

The conference, fist of its kind in the state will have a panel discussion on the challenge of child labour.
