Chhat Puja in Kokrajhar

Devotees from various parts of the Kokrajhar thronged the Gaurang River Ghat to offer prayer and puja archana on the occasion of Chhat Puja festival today in Kokrajhar. 

People sand devotees of Surjyanarayan from all walks of life come out with prayer materials to the Gaurang River bank and offered their worship and flowers on a traditional phenomenon. 

The Chhat Puja was organized by Kokrajhar Surjya Shasti Pujasaha Kalyan Sangha. 

Former minister and Kokrajhar east MLA Pramila Rani Brahma attended the programme.
