Bogibeel waiting for 2016

North east has reasons to smile. Courtesy Sadananda Gowda. The railway minister on Tuesday confirmed that the Bogibeel project would be completed by 2016.

Gowda announced a huge Rs 54,000 crore package to uplift the region’s railway connectivity. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, Gowda said that Assam alone would get Rs 5,400 crore to improve and expand railway network.

After reviewing the railway projects, he said that Assam will get seven new trains very soon.
