Blockade in Harmoti

Local people in large number are on an indefinite economic blockade against Arunachal Pradesh in Harmoti a day after the firing incident in Bihali where 10 villagers were killed on Wednesday.

Thousands of people in the area blocked the National Highway No 52 to prevent supply of essential commodities to Arunachal Pradesh. Nearly one hundred trucks carrying essential commodities are remaining stranded under the impact of the blockade.
