Beware of buffalo fight

Much to a major disappointment for a section of people, the Assam government has restricted the traditional buffalo fight in the time of magh bihu.

The district authorities have already received a set of instructions from Dispur  to discourage the traditional games which is prevalent in Sivasagar and Morigan district. The government has issued the instructions acting on a Supreme Court order.
