APSC: HC entertains Akhil’s PIL

After days of will-it-won’t-it, Gauhati High Court entertained Akhil Gogoi’s PIL against Assam Public Service Commission which mires in controversy over the examination to select ACS, APS and allied services.

According to the court, it took nearly 15 days to examine the position of the KMSS leader who has alleged rampant corruption in the selection of candidates for ACS, APS and allied services.

In his PIL, Gogoi sought court’s intervention against the state public service commission and cancellation of the selected candidates in question.
