2 nomination papers rejected in Kokrajhar

The nomination of Salkan Murmu of Jharkhand Disom Party (JDP) and Haricharan Basumatary (Independent) found invalid and rejected during scrutiny in No. 5 Kokrajhar  Lok Sabha (ST) constituency. 

Kokrajhar DC and Returning Officer Nitin Khade said the nomination of Murmu and Basumatary were rejected.

A total of nine candidates have filed nomination, of which seven found valid to contest in the ensuing election from Kokrajhar HPC.
Kokrajhar Lok Sabha Constituency, the election to which is on April 24. The date of withdrawal is Wednesday (April 9).
