Skill development training

In all 51 youths from the State are selected to undergo a 6 month long skill development training at Orion Edutech, Kolkotta. 

Twenty six youths will undergo training in Beauty Sector and 25 will undergo training in Hospitality along with Soft Skills like spoken English, communication, internet browsing etc. 

The youths, were selected through district level Job Mela-cum-Skill Development awareness and selection rallies held in every district throughout the state.

During a briefing-cum-send off programme organized by the Department of Skill Development and Employment Generation in Udyog Sadan in Itanagar on Wednesday, representative of Orion Edutech briefed the youths about the training and urged them to complete it with dedication in order to find a suitable job after completion. The youths were sensitized on precautions to be taken while in  train journey, essential to acclimatize in new place, food habit, security/precaution, dedication, discipline etc.

The cost of the training including Fooding & Lodging, Traveling cost will be borne by State Government under Chief Minister’s Skill Development Mission. At the end of the training the candidates will undergo an assessment which will be conducted by an empanelled and professional organization. The trade certificate will be provided to successful candidate by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), New Delhi
