World Heart Day in Pasighat
Pasighat joined the world heart day celebration at the General Hospital along with other parts of the globe recently for creating heart-healthy environments.
East Siang Deputy Commissioner Isha Khosla said that the main objective of the celebration was to spread the awareness of the importance of heart. She instructed the non communicable disease programme officer Tarik Talom to organize such programs on cardiovascular disease at school level.
Other speakers urged the people to get diagnosis and treatment of diseases Diabetes, CVDs, Hypertension and cancer etc which are under the programme of NPCDCS at all NCDs Clinics which is available in the General Hospital, Pasighat also in Boleng, Ruksin and Nari CHCs.
