Tiger terror strikes Guwahati

A full grown tigress continues to unleash a reign of terror in Guwahati these days.

The epicenter is Kahilipara after three leopards were captured during the last couple of weeks.

A police patrol team on Thursday spotted the tigress in Dotalruwa area in the foothills of the Narakashur hill.

But the tigress managed to escape from the spot amid deepening darkness. Forest officials arrived in the spot. But they could not trace the tigress. According to the forest official, at least three leopards have been moving in the area in search of food.
