No place for D voters

The Election Commission has made it clear that they won’t allow any doubtful voters to exercise their franchise.

Addressing a press conference in Delhi on Wednesday, Chief Election Commission said that there is no scope for allowing the D voters to vote in Assam in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls slated for April 7, 12, 24.

Various political parties have been demanding voting rights for these voters.

Government Extends AFSPA in Manipur Amidst Ethnic Clashes

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) today extended the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958, to six police stations across five districts in Manipur.
