Sea of humanity in Sivasagar

Sivasagar breaks into a sea of humanity as the Mahashivratri gets underway on Thursday.

Over two lakh with devotees and tourists are arriving in this historic town to make glimpse of the three day long festival.

The district administration is taking brisk step to make the annual festival a success. The Shivratri exhibition seems to have pulled huge crowds this year.

Cultural programmes are lined up on the occasion.

Ayush healthcare system to train rural youths

The Ministry of Ayush and the Ministry of Rural Development have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop skilled manpower for the Ayush healthcare system. The agreement aims to enable rural youth to become a skilled workforce in the sector.
