Bhupen Zindabad in Rahul show!

RAJU BARUAH FROM TEZPUR

Road shows are over. Apart from allegations of huge traffic inconvenience the shows seemed to have focused a particular circle of political leaders.

While Rahul Gandhi Zindabad slogan rented the sky after Nehru-Gandhi family scion landed at Koliabhumora to hold the first road show in Tezpur on Wednesday afternoon, a section of party workers started shouting slogans for Bhupen Bora, the AICC general secretary who is a ticket aspirant from Tezpur.

But Gandhi’s road show failed to pull huge crowd as the people who were anxiously waiting on the roadsides left for homes because of delay in the schedule.

Gandhi completed his road show in Tezpur only within a brief period of 20 minutes.
