Mahanta slams Rahul

AGP on Wednesday sharply criticized Rahul Gandhi a day after the Congress vice president slammed the regional parties for failures on all fronts.

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, party president Prafulla Kumar Mahanta said that Gandhi had no rights to criticize AGP.

Mahanta questioned Gandhi’s silence on the genuine problems confronting Assam and its people.

He further lambasted Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi for comparing Gandhi with Lachit Borphukan on Tuesday.
