Ensure 14 seats: Gandhi

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday asked APCC to put up a commendable show in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

This was what he told to APCC leaders at the executive meeting in the evening. He is understood to sought assurance from the APCC leaders during his interaction with them.

Gandhi further appreciated chief minister Tarun Gogoi and president Bhubneswar Kalita for taking the party to the grass root level.
