Gecko snakes seized, 2 held

Tezpur, of late, has become a safe transit route for a section of miscreants to smuggle unique reptiles.

Police arrested two youths at Koliabhumura in Tezpur on Friday after being seized two gecko from their possession.

During interrogation, the youths confessed that they were on the way to Manipur after procuring the unique reptiles. Investigation is going on.
