Rhino attack revisits

A strayed rhino is unleashing no less reign of terror killing a person in Majuli on Tuesday.

The animal was spotted in the open paddy field at Pohumora area early in the morning to be chased away by a group of local people. But it sneaked into the nearby village in the wee hours.

The angry animal killed a person when he along with a few others tried to disperse it from the river island. The local resident was hit by its horn and then trampled to death.  Forest officials arrived in the spot at 8-30 in the morning and they are monitoring the animal.
