BJP orders voting scam probe

BJP state president Sarbananda Sonowal on Sunday instituted probe into the voting controversy in the Rajya Sabha polls.

Headed by Mison Ranjan Das, the committee would closely probe the allegations that a BJP legislator intentionally got his ballot cancelled to help Congress and BPF win the polls.

The committee would send the probe report to the party’s parliamentary panel for action against the guilty legislator.
Before that Phukan announced that he would move the court to unearth the truth.
